Hi, I'm having problem trying to uninstall "Crystel Reports for .Net Framework 2.0 (x86)" using the Control Panel on Windows Vista. It starts tro uninstalll and then hangs and nothing more happens.
What could be wrong?
Is there a way to manually removing it?
A user accidentally deleted a folder full with reports and their history while using the Business Objects Enterprise Console. Is there a way to recover this folder? I have a copy of last nights backup of the database and I have restored the data with it and that did not solve the problem.
Can anyone help?

I'm having a hard time finding any kind of guides on the server side of Business Objects. So I'm wondering if anybody knows of some that are available on the internet or SAP site?
I've found very few in the software department. However, I'm looking more for the hardware portion of Business Objects. Basically the goal is to get the server as optimal as possible (As far as memory, parameters, CPU, etc) is concerned so we know it can't be a hardware issue. It's kind of narrowing down the potential problems we can have later on down the road so that's why this is very important right now.
Any help with this will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. -Victor

I have been battling with this error for a while and I was hoping someone can assist me fix this problem.
I have created a number of universes using the Universe designer but each time I create and try to run Web Intelligence Documents linked to those Universes or when I try to create reports in Crystal Reports using these Universes I get the message. below;
A database error occurred. The database error test is: (CS) "Unable to bind to configuration object" (WIS10901)
I have checked all my connections for the Universes and the BI server; they seem to work ok. I can actually run reports created with the Desktop Intelligence Module but it does not work with Crystal Reports and Web Intelligence documents.
I shall be grateful if someone can point me in the right direction.

The document can't be retrived from reposiroty server WIS 30951
Another error while importing:
local file copy has failed file repository server error
I think have some desynch with repository and OS files
2 questions:
- how can I get synch with the repository ?
- what is the right procedure to backup the reposity (oracle + cold backup) ?
stop SIA

start SIA
is it OK ?

Hi, I am new to crystal report. I want to use CR 11 integrated with my web based application. Now as entire application is designed in PHP, I need to use PHP, use COM, to pass parameters and generate PDF report.
I have following question.
Will I need CR server ?
How do i actually invoke CR from PHP ?

Hi, gurus.
We've created a universe based on Excel spredsheet or MS Access which is using ODBC connection. Then, I try to create query (which is using these universe) in QAAWS or in InfoView, and when I add a filter object to the query, the error occurs:
"GetDatasourceObject LOV exception (error WIS: 10901)".
If I don't choose any filter options and want to create query, I'm getting the error: ' [Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data source name not found and no default driver specified (error WIS: 10901)'.
We tried to do this in different operations systems - Windows 7 (32 bit) and XP (32 bit).
Anymore, we can use this universes at web intelligence rich client with or without filters.
Need to solve this problem. Please help us.

Unfortunately I'm not sure which one to download. The most relevant I see is but not sure:
BOE XI 3.1 ServicePack 2 (Server + Client) - update >> Size: 1433681 (1.4G)
BOE XI 3.1 ServicePack 2 (Client Tools) >> Size: 662577 (662 MB)
Then I see a whole lot of Fix Packs. Please help in downloading the right one.

We have migrated reports from version Business Objects 6.5.1 to Business Objects XI 3.1 SP2. We have been receiving sporadic 'Cannot open document (Error: INF)' now and again whenever you open Desktop Intelligence reports using Infoview. Have any other users come across this issue using BOXI 3.1 SP2. I do not believe that this issue occurred on SP1.
This error is very frustrating.
I have browsed various forums and implemented changes which have had no effect whatsoever including the SAP Marketplace.
We are also receiving SetPrompts Failed errors. When a report is opened in Infoview and you refresh a report, a blank dialog appears with a red cross. if you refresh the report again then the SetPrompts Failed error appears. I have evene made changes according to article 1364437 based on this error and this has not resolved the issue.

I am trying to refresh an existing DESKI report and getting to following error:
Connection or SQL sentence error: (DA0005)
Exception: DBD, [Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data source name not found and no default driver specifiedState: IM002
I have recreated my ODBC connections and checked that all the servers is running under the CMC console.
